Do you love working with people and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment? Wild Pacific Whale Watch and Pacific Cruises is looking for a dependable, friendly, and highly organized team member to become the face of our operation on weekends.
This is much more than a receptionist position. You'll be the first person our guests meet and play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience from the moment they arrive.
### Responsibilities
* Welcome and check in guests for whale watching tours and private cruises
* Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries
* Assist guests with reservations, schedule changes, and tour information
* Process ticket sales and payments using our reservation system
* Coordinate boarding with captains and crew
* Assist with office organization and daily administrative tasks
* Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional check-in area
* Occasionally assist with social media content, marketing projects, or special events
### We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
* Exceptionally friendly and outgoing
* Reliable and punctual (weekend reliability is essential)
* Calm under pressure and able to multitask
* Comfortable using computers, email, and reservation software (training provided)
* Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
* Professional in appearance and attitude
* Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
### Preferred Qualifications
* Customer service, hospitality, tourism, or front desk experience
* Cash handling and point-of-sale experience
* Knowledge of San Diego attractions is a plus
* Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a bonus, but not required
### Schedule
* Primarily Saturdays and Sundays
* Holiday availability required
* Additional weekday shifts available during peak seasons and to cover vacations
