Duties
- Assist customers with selecting flowers, plants, and related products, providing expert advice on floral arrangements
- Create visually appealing floral arrangements and displays according to shop standards and customer preferences
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the shop floor, including stocking shelves and arranging merchandise attractively
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, handle cash and card payments accurately, and manage cash handling procedures
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels, placing orders for supplies, and merchandising products effectively
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain floral buckets & cooler to ensure proper flower care and shop cleanliness
- Basic knowledge of common flowers and greenery (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Ability to work independently and manage daily shop operations once fully tranined
- Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Previous Floral experience is preferred but not required - willingness to lean floral design
- Organizational skills to manage stocking, merchandising, and daily shop operations efficiently
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting flowers or supplies
- Basic retail math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing POS operations
- Must be self motivated, productive and have attention to detail
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
