Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, attentive, and dependable Infant Teacher to provide loving care and early developmental support to our youngest learners. This role is ideal for someone who is nurturing, detail-oriented, and passionate about early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, loving, and responsive care to infants
- Follow daily feeding, diapering, sleeping, and hygiene routines
- Support each infant’s developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment
- Accurately complete daily reports and developmental documentation
- Follow safe sleep policies and all state licensing regulations
- Maintain proper staff-to-child ratios at all times
- Communicate daily with families regarding each child’s care and progress
- Work closely with leadership and team members
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Infant childcare experience preferred
- CDA, ECE coursework, or degree preferred
- Ability to pass all required background checks
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patient, nurturing, and dependable personality
Pay Structure & Structured Raises
- Starting pay is based on experience
- $0.25 raise after 3 months
- Additional $0.25 raise at 6 months
- Increase up to $1.00 at 1 year
