About the role
Wildpack is currently looking for a dedicated, full time Receiving Coordinator. Primary responsibilities will be receiving ingredients and packaging materials as well as staging and loading outbound orders. Along with safe operation of a forklift, attention to detail is critical. Specifically, food items that have lot code, expire dates and allergens. The dock team is the first to handle materials coming into our building and the last to handle it going out. A high level of accuracy is needed.
A day in the life: What you do
- Safely operate a forklift
- Take pride in your work area. Keep it clean and organized. Audit ready
- Unload and load trucks. Includes driver check in and trailer inspection reports.
- Verify inbound material against packing list for accuracy.
- For food items, record lot codes, expire dates, COA and allergen info. Ensure SQF compliance.
- Sense of urgency for refrigerated items as they arrive.
- Perform system receipt transactions and maintain neat, accurate, complete paperwork for scan and upload. (BOL, pack lists, COA, etc.)
- Print and label all inbound materials and stage for put away.
- Assist with material put away into location as needed.
- Pick and stage outbound orders. This may include manual consolidation and/or breaking down pallets.
- Perform shipping transactions to complete outbound orders along with uploading required documents and pictures of the load.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: What you know
- Prior knowledge of food production processes (specifically beverages), preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Outlook, databases and order-processing software
Must haves: What you bring
- 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment, ideally with food handling requirements.
- Safe forklift operation. Familiar with going in/out of trucks.
- Detail oriented with a sharp focus on accuracy.
- Experience using an ERP system to input receipts, shipments, print documents, access email, teams, etc.
