Overview
We're a small cafe in Westport, MA looking for candidates to join our kitchen crew. Pay (including tips) ranges from $21-24 per hour with bonuses for working holidays and special events. 30 minute breaks and free shift meals and drinks are provided. Year Round Availability and at least one weekend shift is required. The hours are 7-3:15 Tuesday-Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
- Inventory rotation
- Deliver orders from the kitchen to guests
Requirements
- Year round availability and at least one weekend day
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cleaning, bussing, food preparation, and basic sanitation practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
