Position OverviewWe are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Tasting Room Associates to join our team. As one of the first faces guests meet, you'll play a key role in welcoming visitors, guiding them through tastings, sharing product knowledge, and helping them discover new favorites. This role is perfect for someone who loves food, enjoys connecting with people, and thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests, creating a warm and memorable experience.
- Lead olive oil and balsamic tastings, sharing product knowledge in a friendly and educational way.
- Provide excellent customer service, assist with purchases.
- Handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room, displays, and sampling stations.
- Assist with stocking, merchandising, and restocking shelves.
- Support special events, private tastings, and seasonal promotions.
- Learn and represent the Wild Groves brand, values, and product story with enthusiasm.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Not required but preferred to have previous experience in hospitality, retail, or food & beverage.
- Interest in food, wine, olive oil, or specialty products
- Ability to multitask and remain professional in a busy environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Availability to work weekends, afternoons, and various holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
