Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Nail Technician who is passionate about natural nail health, Gel-X enhancements, client education, and creating an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate is not only skilled in their craft but also values professionalism, continued education, teamwork, and building long-term relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional nail services including:
- Gel-X extensions
- Structured gel manicures
- Natural nail services
- Pedicures
- Nail art (preferred)
- Maintain proper sanitation and infection control standards
- Educate clients on home care and nail health
- Recommend retail products when appropriate
- Maintain accurate client notes and service records
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities
- Assist in creating a positive and welcoming spa environment
- Support spa events, promotions, and community outreach opportunities
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Virginia Nail Technician License
- Strong knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Preferred:
- Gel-X experience
- Nail art experience
- Existing clientele
- Experience working in a spa setting
- Passion for holistic wellness and self-care
Compensation
- 40% commission on services rendered
