Staff Accountant

Description

As a Staff Accountant at Wild Fork, you will be responsible for the processing of invoices, analyzing and reconciling expenditures, assuring proper revenue recognition, and ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and generally accepted accounting standards principles.

This is an in-office role, Monday – Friday, based in Doral, FL.

Essential Tasks And Responsibilities

• Accounting contact for assigned department(s)
• Support reconciliation process in order to assure proper revenue and cost recognition
• Processing of vendor invoices
• Preparing journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Reconciling assigned general ledger accounts
• Assist in providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
• Assist the Accounting Manager and Controller with the quarterly and year-end financial audits
• Maintain customer confidence and protect company assets by keeping financial information confidential
• Ad hoc reporting as requested by management
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance, with 1-2 years progressive of accounting experience required
• Proven analytical skills, including the understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• Solid organizational skills, including strong detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Superb communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
• Experience with MS office suite, with a heavy emphasis on Excel(Pivot Tables and Vlookup experience needed)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP a plus)
