- Greet and welcome guests warmly as they enter the restaurant
- Manage reservations and wait list
- Escort guests to their tables while considering server rotation and section assignments
- Track table status and coordinate with servers and bussers to ensure timely table turnover
- Answer phones professionally and address customer inquiries
- Maintain an organized host station
- Monitor dining room capacity and manage wait times effectively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Ability to remain calm and organized during busy periods
- Previous customer service experience preferred
