Wild Dove Boutique is seeking a sales driven Store Manager for our Encinitas location. This role is for a leader who owns store performance, thrives on the sales floor, and knows how to drive results through people, not just tasks.
You are not just managing the store, you are responsible for how it performs. You lead from the front, set the pace, and ensure the team is consistently executing at a high level.
This is an hourly monthly bonus incentive position.
What You’ll DoOwn Sales Performance
- Take full ownership of daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Consistently perform as a top seller in the store
- Drive key metrics: conversion, ADT, and units per transaction
- Identify missed opportunities in real time
- Turn average days into strong days through leadership and urgency
Lead & Develop the Team
- Hold the team accountable to selling standards and performance expectations
- Coach in real time on the floor (greetings, try-ons, outfit building, and closing)
- Provide direct, actionable feedback that improves performance and builds stronger sellers
- Set the tone for energy, urgency, and accountability daily
- Own all aspects of team development including recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining a high performing, accountable sales team
Customer Experience & Clienteling
- Ensure every customer is actively styled, guided through try-ons, and confidently closed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers
- Drive both personal and store level clienteling efforts
- Handle elevated customer situations with ownership and professionalism
Visual & Selling Environment
- Own the overall store presentation and selling environment
- Ensure the floor is always customer ready: clean, steamed, sized, and styled
- Lead merchandising decisions with a focus on what drives sales and not just aesthetics
Operations & Store Execution
- Oversee all store operations including shipment, replenishment, inventory organization, and merchandising flow
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in markdowns, transfers, and restocks
- Maintain high operational standards and team accountability
Social Media & Store Content
- Ensure the store consistently produces 10 pieces of sales driven content per week
- Content should support new arrivals, outfit building, best sellers, and promotions
- Be comfortable on camera and leading by example in content creation
- Treat content as part of the sales strategy, not optional, not extra
Who You Are
- Proven retail sales leadership experience (not just management)
- You are a strong seller who knows how to close
- Comfortable giving direct feedback and holding a team accountable
- High energy, self motivated, and thrives in a fast paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership—you take responsibility for results
- Detail oriented with a strong eye for style and presentation
- Able to stay composed and lead effectively in high pressure situations
- Confident working independently while maintaining strong sales performance, customer engagement, and store standards without supervision
- Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Requirements
- Previous retail management or assistant management experience — required
- Proven ability to drive sales results and lead a team to perform
