Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the team and maintain quality standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, including food handling and bussing duties.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage time effectively during busy weekend shifts to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for sales upselling.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in a restaurant, café, grocery store, or retail setting is a plus.
