What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Receiving Associate position at Wilcox Industries?
This position performs a variety of warehouse activities including, but not limited to: receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, printing and organizing paperwork, all with minimal supervision.

Required
Standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds independently (up to 60 pounds as team lift), reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, all across various distances, are generally required to perform the functions of this position.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Verify counts and paperwork before receiving incoming material.
- Communicate any discrepancies with area supervisor
- Maintains a clean work area and overall cleanliness (ie: neatly organized, clean, and free of trash/boxes)
- Ensures that customer orders are closed.
- Performs daily cycle counting and reconciliation.
- Ships all products as noted on packing documents.
- Wraps & labels skids, prepares & packs finished goods
- Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and driven environment.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a professional manner to maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and management.
- Adheres to safe work practices and complies with all Company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the department Manager.
Required
- High School Diploma.
- 1-3 years of stockroom/shipping/receiving experience.
- ERP/MRP experience a plus. (SAP)
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-starter who works well under minimal supervision.
- Able to multi-task, and handle multiple priorities between managers in accordance with their priority.
- Must be able to work overtime, when necessary.
