Warehouse Associate (Loader/Picker)

Wilcox Farms is seeking exceptional experienced candidates for a Load out Crew Worker.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for picking customer orders and loading and unloading trailers in a timely manner.

• Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job description:

• Pick accurate orders for customers in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to the identification, recording and selection of proper dates, items, and plant codes. Follow the Picking SOP.
• Load and unload trailers in a timely manner while following correct procedures. This includes using good record keeping skills, product placement and the deciphering a food diagram.
• Daily use of the standing loader and electric walk behind pallet jacks.
• Daily use of the computer (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Daily Put Away of product in proper slots.
• Daily transfer of materials and goods to the breaking plant and hard-boiled plants.
• Audit picks, identify and report any issues.

Requirements:

• Will be working in a cold environment and outside ambient temperatures including heat, cold and precipitation.
• Will stand to build pallets with products.
• Will transfer boxes up to 30 lbs. from ground level up to 80 inches in height without mechanical assistance.
• Strong customer service level
• Attention to detail
• Prior experience of 3-5 years in a large, fast paced warehouse environment preferred
• Perishable Food Experience is preferred
