We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Playground Equipment Installers. This is a 1099 contractor position, perfect for self-motivated workers who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and want to learn a specialized trade. Experience is not required – full training is provided for the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare job sites for playground installation, including measuring, leveling, digging, and clearing areas as needed
- Install playground equipment such as swing sets, slides, climbing structures, and safety surfacing according to project specifications
- Read and follow installation plans, blueprints, and manufacturer guidelines
- Assemble and secure equipment using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and are properly anchored and stable
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients onsite
- Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, dig, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to travel to job sites within the assigned area
- No prior experience required.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or equipment assembly
- Familiarity with blueprints or technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of site preparation, grading, or concrete work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
