Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in Marquette, MI. The Carpenter will perform day-to-day tasks such as framing, installing structural and finish components, and completing interior and exterior carpentry work according to project plans and specifications. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, using hand and power tools safely, and ensuring high-quality workmanship on custom remodels and new construction. Qualifications
- Strong carpentry skills, including experience with framing and finish carpentry in residential remodeling or construction.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, with a focus on safe, precise, and efficient use on active job sites.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, and translate them into accurate, high-quality work.
- Solid understanding of building codes, construction best practices, and job site safety standards.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
