What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Control Coordinator position at Wil-Ro?
Job Description
Role Overview / Responsibilities:
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/factory setting.
- Coordinate efficient material flow to ensure timely delivery of components to all areas of the factory.
- Review technical prints, shop drawings, and product Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure each part has been built appropriately.
- Push and gather kit material from one station to another utilizing pallet trucks and/or forklifts.
- Work closely with purchasing and receiving for deliveries.
- Load/unload truck shipments.
- Be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Manage material inventory in storage, ensure accessibility of high demand materials, and minimize waste.
- Restock racks ensuring all materials are accessible.
- Operate a press brake and CNC plasma table.
- Implement solutions for standard hours in the factory.
- Ensure components stations are prepared in a timely manner and are welding at rate with production.
- Be able to read production board efficiently to keep factory flowing.
- Perform other duties as required.
Desired Skills
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with shop drawings, technical drawings, CNC machining, and Bill of Materials
Details
- Monday – Friday; 5am-1:30 (2:30pm – AS NEEDED)
- Pay based on experience.
- Benefits package available after 90 days of hire date.
