Duties
- Operate cranes to lift and move materials with precision
- Rig loads securely using proper rigging techniques to ensure safety during lifting operations
- Coordinate with ground personnel to plan lifts and ensure clear communication throughout operations
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Assist with site setup by positioning heavy equipment and preparing materials for lifting or transport
- Maintain detailed logs of crane operations, inspections, and safety checks to ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Must be NCCO Certified
- Proven experience operating cranes
- Strong mechanical knowledge of crane systems and heavy equipment maintenance
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for operating large vehicles if required
- Skilled in rigging techniques and materials handling procedures for safe lifting operations
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site regulations
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
