Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, including receiving, storage, staging, and shipment
- Lead and develop warehouse and logistics staff to ensure performance, safety, and accountability
- Ensure inventory accuracy through disciplined controls, cycle counts, and ERP system alignment
- Coordinate shipment scheduling with Production, Planning, and Customer Service teams
- Monitor freight execution and carrier performance at the plant level
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and transportation regulations
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse layout, material handling, and workflow efficiency
- Other duties assigned by management
- Accurate inventory records with minimal discrepancies
- On-time shipment execution aligned with OTIF targets
- Efficient warehouse operations with organized and audit-ready facilities
- Reduced material handling errors and shipment delays
- Improved labor utilization and warehouse productivity
- Reports To: Plant Manager
- Direct Reports: Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Coordinator, Shipping & Receiving Clerk
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Relevant warehouse or logistics certifications preferred
- 8–12 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution within a manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership experience managing warehouse or logistics teams
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and ERP platforms
- Experience coordinating freight, carriers, and plant-level transportation activities
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
- Manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures.
- Must use or wear equipment, protective devices, or certain clothing as required by the company.
