UHP Laser Operator 2nd shift

Your activities

• Utilizes ERP System to start/close jobs, report scrap, and manage schedule.
• Checks job paperwork for proper completion of prior operations.
• Uses internal software to navigate welding systems.
• Loads and unloads parts to perform welding operation.
• Makes set up adjustments to ensure production of quality parts.
• Does multiple changeovers/set ups as schedule requires.
• Produces parts for multiple departments and verifies parts are correct for each job.
• Conducts inspection of welded parts for defects.
• Delivers parts to the correct cells.
• Completes work with minimal supervision.
• Operates multiple lasers.
• Completes inspections.
• Learns CNC programming.
• Performs ancillary duties as needed.
• Trains other employees on Welding equipment.
• Operates other equipment in the cell as needed
  
  

Your profile

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Skilled with navigating computer screens, ability to read and follow instructions.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred utilizing computer programmed equipment.
• Must be self-motivated always looking to improve the process.
