Wiggins Consulting LLC is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented NextJS Developer to support one of our key client projects. This role focuses on building scalable, user-friendly front-end applications using Next.js, React, and modern web technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a passion for clean code, and experience working in Agile teams delivering high-quality digital solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to estimate, plan, and deliver features, bug fixes, and enhancements within sprint timelines.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards and follow best coding practices.
- Conduct code, environment, and design reviews to ensure quality and performance.
- Support CI/CD processes and troubleshoot application issues with urgency and professionalism.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrum stand-ups.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong expertise in Next.js, React, AngularJS, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Experience in Agile development environments with front-end development best practices.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and knowledge of web services and XML.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with customer portals, mobile-first design, PeopleSoft, MuleSoft, or higher education projects.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or AWS CodeWhisperer.
