What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook - full time - Hilton Bellevue position at Wig Properties LLC?
The Hilton Bellevue is currently seeking a qualified Line Cook to join our busy team at Solarium Kitchen Bar!!
Duties Include:
- Communicate with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Wash, cut and prepare items to be used in the preparation of a variety of food items
- Effectively communicate with Kitchen and restaurant teams, to ensure a seamless guest experience and high guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Prepare ingredients as instructed, and in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist dishwashing team with washing and sorting dishes, general cleaning of the kitchen, and trash removal, as needed
Qualifications Include:
- 2 year food prep and line cook experience
- Current and valid Food Handler's permit, along with a good understanding of food safety and health code rules
- The ability to communicate and respond with members at all levels of the organization
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and mid shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Previous banquet or large event experience a plus!
