We are seeking an experienced Lead Epoxy Installer to join our Residential Coatings Division installation team. As the Lead Epoxy Installer, you will oversee the preparation, application, and finishing of epoxy coatings on various surfaces, ensuring top-quality results that meet industry standards. Responsibilities
- Lead epoxy installation projects from start to finish, coordinating with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, grinding, and repairing concrete or other substrates to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings.
- Mix and apply epoxy resins accurately according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring consistent quality across all applications.
- Supervise and mentor a team of installers, providing guidance on proper techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes.
Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license.
- Proven experience in epoxy systems, flooring installation, painting, or related fields within the construction or restoration industry.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, hand grinders, buffing equipment, and other construction-related machinery.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining safety standards.
- Construction site experience with a focus on epoxy application or similar surface coatings preferred.
- Knowledge of caulking, trim carpentry, painting techniques, concrete finishing, remodeling processes, and restoration procedures is a plus.
