Administrative Assistant – Sheet Metal Construction
Full‑Time | On‑Site | Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
A well‑established sheet metal construction company is seeking a detail‑oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys keeping a team organized and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination
- Manage service calls, appointments, and daily scheduling needs for field and shop teams.
Communication Management
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers, contractors, and vendors professionally.
- Provide timely responses to inquiries and internal requests.
Procurement & Inventory
- Order parts, materials, and supplies used in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
- Track inventory and maintain accurate records.
Warranty & Documentation
- Register warranties and maintain organized documentation.
- Download, organize, and distribute plans, specifications, and technical documents.
Marketing & Website Support
- Assist with email campaigns and social media updates.
- Perform minor website content updates.
Project Support
- Assist Project Managers with compiling job submittals and other administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience in administrative support, customer service, or construction‑related roles preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks or basic bookkeeping is a plus.
