Job Description:
As a Diesel Shop Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients seeking diesel engine services. Your role will be crucial in maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth operations within our service department. Responsibilities include:
- Assigning work to qualified technicians
- Dispatches and assigns work with instructions to technicians
- Creates written documentation regarding customer concerns
- Invoices completed repair orders prior to releasing the vehicle
- Can effectively utilize businesses’ system to look up parts and invoice parts
- Obtain authorization and ensure documents are signed prior to releasing the trucks to customers
- Follow up with the parts department to ensure that all needed parts are ordered and confirm the estimated delivery date
- Build positive and enduring relationships with customers for repeat business.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum 5 years' experience of truck service and repair work
- Minimum 5 years' experience of administrative and clerical work
- Ability to ensure process compliance
- Excellent time management and goal-setting skills
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Considerate and emotionally intelligent
Compensation:
- Up to 2 weeks' vacation the first year and 3 weeks starting in your 4th calendar year.
- $27 - $35 hourly
- Seven paid holidays

Qualification Profile
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- High school diploma No major required
- Valid Driver's License (CDL Preferred)
- 3 years or more of prior relevant experience in a commercial vehicle repair facility
