Wieland is hiring a CNC Operator. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC Lathe and Mill machines to ensure quality product. This role is located in Roseville, MI and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $20.60
Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm
Pay Schedule: bi-weekly
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
1. Basic operation of CNC equipment (load material, cycle start, unload material)
2. Packaging and labeling of Products produced in department.
3. Inspect parts produced accurately and thoroughly frequently using various gaging and metrology equipment.
4. Accountable for Quality of products produced in department.
5. Documentation of all Stock Products into stock book.
6. Some light finishing operations (drilling/deburring)
7. Keep Work area a clean & organized work environment
8. Ability to assist other departments as needed.
9. Basic machine maintenance (Coolants / Oil Levels / Cleaning out between jobs)
10. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or FED or equivalent work experience
2. Experience machining or a technical trade
3. Desire to learn new skills and abilities due to production and deadlines
4. Ability to follow verbal & written instructions
5. Ability to perform computations
6. Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet customer delivery requirements
7. Ability to organize and make work-related decisions based on deadlines and customer spec
8. Forklift / Reach experience and ability
9. Ability to obtain a forklift license if needed
10. Occasional lifting and carrying not to exceed 40 lbs.
11. Manual dexterity and repetitive movement of fingers and hands
12. Must have the Competency to Change Inserts and make offsets within 3 months.
