Wieland is hiring a Stretch Bend Leveler / Tension Leveling Operator . The Stretch Bend Leveler / Tension Leveling Operator will be responsible for producing material that meets or exceeds customer specifications while maintaining targeted productivity levels. This role is located in Reading, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $21.70/hr

Schedule: 3rd shift ($1.25 shift diff.)

Pay Schedule: Thursday bi-weekly

Responsibilities

Stretch Bend Leveler / Tension Leveling Operator Responsibilities:

• To comply with all safety regulations while in the plant.
• To review the mill card prior to processing in order to understand the requirements of the order.
• To set up the assigned equipment and process the material in accordance with the work instructions located at the equipment site.
• To complete all quality checks and to enter the required information onto the mill card.
• To comply with the Wieland Quality System at all times during processing.
• To keep the equipment and work area clean.
  
  

Stretch Bend Leveler / Tension Leveling Operator Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trained and proficient in operating the stretch-bend and tension levelers .
• Computer and keyboard knowledge.
• Able to read a micrometer.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
