Wieland is hiring a Stockperson Helper. The stockperson helper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment throughout the entire organization. Operates equipment safely per standard operating p rocedure and initiates improvement to safe operations as appropriate. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $19.06/hr. for the 60-90 day training period. After training period, $23.80/hr.

Schedule: 11:00pm to 7:00am

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities

Stockperson Helper Responsibilities:

• Maintains safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required
• Performs cleaning duties for office, production area and exterior of the facility as assigned including sweeping, washing, waxing floors, cleaning walls, rugs
• Maintains the service of lavatories, cleans, and disinfects toilets, urinals, sinks, washrooms, dressing rooms and showers. Provides sanitary supplies, paper products, and soap to the appropriate areas
• Maintains clean windows, removes and empties refuse, waste baskets and smoking receptacles
• Maintains safe keeping of sidewalks and walking areas of hazard, ice, and snow
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area
• Assists Stockperson and Utility person as directed by Supervisor
• Maintains an up to date and valid motor operator’s license
• Performs utility person’s duties as needed
• Demonstrates proficiency in the various tasks identified on the machine’s training evaluation form
• Able to work overtime as business needs require
• Assists Stockperson unloading Base and local trucks
• Assist Utility person on Maintaining Centrifuge
• First responder training
• Blood Borne Pathogen training
• Assist Environmental and Maintenance Department as directed by Supervisor
• Inventory Janitorial Supplies
• Cleans and returns removed tools
• Attends meetings as required
  
  

Stockperson Helper Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, lift
• High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent training as approved by Immediate Supervisor, Next Level Supervision, and Human Resources Department
• Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP’s
• Successful completion of Powered Industrial Truck training
• Maintains a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
