We are looking for a spirited, optimistic, and highly organized human being who is interested in post production and specifically editing. This is the coveted entry level role of ASSISTANT EDITOR.
- A Joint Assistant Editor should have: an interest in editing. A curiosity about the craft of editing.
- The basic understanding of an editing timeline in Premier.
- The basic understanding of digitizing, transcoding, importing and working with footage, and other film elements like music, and graphics.
- A fearlessness regarding technology, hardware, software, and "the cloud."
- A curiosity about audio mixing, sound design, motion graphics, color correction, visual effects, film shoots, camera types, digital files, "deliverables," Director's visions, timing, sensibilities, and how all of this comes together, in the brilliant world of post production.
- You must play nicely with others.
