What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects—site development, roadways, drainage, utilities, and whatever challenges come next.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and EITs with support that helps them grow fast.
- Partner with clients, architects, contractors, and agencies to turn ideas into built projects that serve communities.
- Own schedules, budgets, QA/QC, and documentation—keeping projects moving and teams aligned.
- Shape proposals and scopes with your insight and experience.
- Leverage top tools like Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and GIS to streamline design and push for innovation.
- Champion smarter, greener, more resilient engineering solutions that raise the bar for every project.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- PE license in Minnesota
- 5+ years of civil or municipal engineering experience.
- Strong design and project management —you know how to get projects across the finish line.
- A leadership style that’s supportive, open, and collaborative.
- Bonus points for experience in land development, transportation, or water infrastructure.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites and commission meetings.
Preferred Experience
- Working with rural or small-town municipalities.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal funding and permitting processes.
