The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Attorney to join our transactional real estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney who thrives on handling diverse, challenging real estate matters in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll work closely with partners who have deep roots in the Los Angeles market and a reputation for providing pragmatic solutions that help clients achieve their business goals.


What You’ll Do

As a Transactional Real Estate Associate, you will:

  • Represent clients in a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, and commercial leasing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, development agreements, CC&Rs, easements, and related contracts.
  • Conduct and manage due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, and environmental assessments.
  • Coordinate closings and manage deal processes with clients, opposing counsel, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on risk assessment and deal structuring, balancing legal requirements with business objectives.
  • Support partners and collaborate with other associates on complex projects, ensuring high-quality, efficient client service.


What You’ll Bring

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • 3–6 years of experience in transactional real estate law at a reputable firm.
  • Solid experience managing the full life cycle of real estate transactions, ideally in the Los Angeles or broader Southern California market.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset — you enjoy partnering directly with clients and thinking ahead to avoid issues before they arise.
  • A collegial and professional demeanor; you thrive in a close-knit team that values mentorship, shared success, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Estimated base salary range: $145,000–$190,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus discretionary bonus, supportive culture, reasonable hours, and great benefits!
