360 Labs is a purpose-driven B Corporation and the creative force behind Sencha Naturals, a wellness brand known for its matcha-based teas, drink powders, mints, and superfood blends. We formulate, develop, and manufacture everything in-house at our Monterey Park facility—giving us full control over product quality, sustainability, and innovation.
As we scale, we’re seeking a mission-aligned QA Manager to own and evolve our Quality function, ensuring that our products meet the highest safety, compliance, and operational excellence standards.
We’re looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager with strong experience in BRCGS certification, HACCP/HARPC programs, and supplier quality management. This is a strategic, onsite role with day-to-day responsibility for leading our Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing regulatory compliance, and cultivating a strong culture of quality throughout the organization. You’ll play a key role in audits, certifications, and cross-functional collaboration across Product Development, Operations, and Supply Chain.
You’ll report directly to our Director of Product Development & Commercialization and have the opportunity to build and lead the next phase of quality standards at 360 Labs.
BRCGS Program Management
· Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the BRCGS program to ensure continuous certification and full compliance.
· Serve as point of contact for certification bodies and lead all third-party, customer, and regulatory audits.
Supplier Quality & Risk Management
· Develop and manage a robust supplier approval program including risk assessments, audits, and ongoing performance documentation.
· Ensure all raw materials and services meet rigorous quality and safety standards.
HACCP & Food Safety Leadership
· Maintain and evolve our HACCP and HARPC plans, including identifying CCPs, conducting risk assessments, and leading food safety planning.
· Chair the HACCP team and drive proactive food safety initiatives.
QMS Ownership & Compliance
· Develop, maintain, and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS).
· Own and update SOPs, GMPs, and internal documentation per FDA 21 CFR 117 standards.
· Oversee CGMPs for dietary supplements (21 CFR 111) and support compliance for Organic, Kosher, and other certifications.
Product Testing & Release
· Manage microbiological, chemical, and physical testing of raw materials and finished goods.
· Own product release protocols, ensuring all specs are met before market release.
CAPA & Continuous Improvement
· Lead non-conformance investigations and customer complaint resolution.
· Develop and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), with root cause analysis and data trend reporting.
Training & Culture Building
· Train staff on GMPs, QMS, and food safety practices.
· Promote a quality-first culture across departments and levels of the organization.
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field
· 5 years of progressive experience in QA/QC roles in food, beverage, or dietary supplement manufacturing
· 3 years direct experience implementing and managing BRCGS certification
· HACCP certified and strong working knowledge of HARPC and food safety planning
· PCQI certified or equivalent qualification
· Deep understanding of FDA 21 CFR 117
· Experience with supplier audits and quality risk assessments
· Excellent documentation, communication, and leadership skills
· Analytical mindset with comfort analyzing quality data and trends
Nice to Have
· Experience with FDA 21 CFR 111 (Dietary Supplement GMPs)
· Familiarity with certifications such as Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, or Halal
· Base Salary: $116,000–$120,000
