Job Description:
The WO Ad Exchange (WAX) team is looking for a talented Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join us. At WideOrbit, you will be a major contributor on a small, experienced team. You will work on our next-generation programmatic digital media ad solutions and your code will have an impact on the products. We build powerful webservices, complex data pipelines, and advanced UI and reporting portals. You’ll have a chance to focus in areas you’re already skilled and take on new challenges over time.
Here is what success will look like:
- Contribute to further development of our core web services and UI frontend components.
- Architect end to end solutions based on business needs.
- Design & implement APIs to access various data sources and backend components to support web services and user portals.
- Help design and implement advanced user portals and interfaces.
- Help design and implement solutions and web services to our customers that maintain high availability, fast response times and high throughput.
- Apply best design and coding practices, develop unit tests, and implement clear, flexible, readable and maintainable code.
- Develop and implement solutions, APIs and components for integration with other WO solutions and services.
- Design, implement and update WAX public APIs for core service offering and interoperability with WAX strategic partners.
- Create and maintain solid documentation.
To thrive in this role, we’re looking for:
- Someone who is passionate about technology, have compassion for internal/external customers and can juggle conflicting priorities.
- 5 years of experience developing Frontend UI components.
- 5 years with web technologies, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Node JS, ASP.NET.
- 3 years of experience developing web services and APIs in the cloud.
- Expert knowledge of SQL.
- Working knowledge of .Net and C# or Java.
- Experience with Docker, Containerization and Serverless Technologies is a plus.
- Also nice to have: PHP, Go, Python, familiarity with GCP, BigQuery.
