Our client is a global leading social media and high tech company:

They are looking for an IT technician to join their Santa Monica office and support the growth of their R&D and hardware engineering teams:
-Part of a small local support team but the sole IT technician to support the hardware engineers;
-Act as go to person and troubleshoot Windows and Linux OS plus some Mac OS, Cisco network, AD, Office 365, storage and back up;
-Support digital workspace technologies such as Okta, Atlassian, Slack, Confluence, Google Workspace and JAMF;
-Help with legacy system update and upgrade;
-Clear tickets backlog, analysing issues and following up with end users, escalate technical issues, helping resolving problems and finding root cause within SLA;
-Documentation
Initially 12 months full time contract till the end of 2026 with option to extend yearly. W2 employer contract offering $34.79 per hour (40 hours per week) plus contribution to medical plan and federal public holidays as PTOs. 5 days on site in Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA 90405)
Requirements:
-2 years experience working as IT support/service desk;
-Working knowledge in troubleshooting Linux (Red Hat) / Windows/ Mac OS X/Mac/Apple technologies
-Storage Systems - Synology (nice to have)
-3D printers (nice to have)
-Excellent client facing and problem solving skills, creative thinking and sociable personality
