Responsibilities
- Erect and install batching and mixing equipment at customer job sites.
- Complete the mechanical installation of plant equipment.
- Verify equipment is delivered, staged, and ready for installation.
- Confirm footings are properly located before installation begins.
- Maintain daily and weekly progress reports and document any issues.
- Communicate project delays, field issues, and change order requests to the Field Services Manager.
- Coordinate with customers and job site personnel as needed.
- Keep the job site clean and secure at the end of each workday.
- Assist with equipment start-up and troubleshooting.
- Perform additional field service duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience with commercial or industrial construction projects required.
- Experience in industrial controls preferred.
- Construction or related field experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and construction skills.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, portable welders, cutting torches, rigging equipment, ladders, and other construction equipment.
- Ability to operate equipment such as telescopic forklifts and aerial lifts.
- Basic math skills, including measurements and fractions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet project schedules with limited supervision.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Commitment to following all safety policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80–90%), with projects typically lasting 1–3 weeks.
