2nd or 3rd Shift.
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Cincinnati hydraulic CNC press brakes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- CNC hydraulic press brakes and punch presses for production work
- Select, load, and install tooling based on job specifications and setup instructions
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Record production and labor information using computerized tracking systems
- Safely operate forklifts and assist with material handling
- Identify and communicate production, material, or quality concerns
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
- Work collaboratively with team members and assist in other areas when needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating press brakes, punch presses, or similar fabrication equipment preferred
- Basic understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read blueprints and use standard measuring tools
- Strong math, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment is preferred
