Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Consultant at our Cumberland and Middletown locations. The Sales Consultant will assist customers in identifying and purchasing appliances and lighting products that meet their needs and preferences. Responsibilities include providing product recommendations, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining knowledge of available products, and delivering excellent customer service in alignment with our family-oriented values.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales Consulting and Consulting to provide tailored product recommendations
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers and team members
- Ability to build relationships and foster trust with customers
- Knowledge of appliances and lighting systems is a plus
- Prior experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in sales is an advantage
Minimum Requirements:
- High- School Diploma or equivalent
- A Team Player with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous sales/customer service experience is preferred.

FLSA and Employment Status:
- Non-Exempt Hourly Base Wage Commission Eligibility
- Full-time position – 38-40 Hours
- Schedules vary Monday – Saturday from 9AM to 8PM with one day off during the week.
- Saturdays are Mandatory for all Sales Associates
