What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Consultant position at Wickford Appliance Inc?
We are a family-owned company since 1958 known for delivering residential appliances a full-service experience—from sales to delivery, installation, plumbing and service.
We are looking for a high-energy person who is both able to sell inside our retail store as well as going out into the community, acquiring business and establishing their own book of new clientele.
The Sales Consultant will help customers find the perfect appliances for their homes — from refrigerators and ovens to washers, dryers, and more. You’ll become knowledgeable in our full product lineup and confidently guide customers through the buying process. If you enjoy working with people, building relationships, and want to grow a long-term career in sales, this is a great opportunity to do just that.
Minimum Requirements:
- High- School Diploma or equivalent
- A Team Player with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication, approachable & customer-focused
- POS system & various web-based programs
- Previous sales/customer service experience is preferred, not required.

FLSA and Employment Status:
- Non-Exempt Hourly Base Wage Commission Eligibility
- Full-time position: 38-40 Hours
- Schedules vary Monday – Saturday from 8:30AM to 8PM with one day off during the week.
- Saturdays are Mandatory for all Sales Teams
