Production Operator

EMS, Thin Metal Parts is seeking a dedicated and skilled efab operator to join our dynamic team. This position requires a keen attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Summary: Prepare and process electroplating equipment to produce parts for customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning and plating processes
• Process parts through the appropriate chemical baths, following run sheets
• Perform chemical additions as specified by lab
• Use a micrometer to measure parts, perform calculations and adjust process parameters
• In-process inspection of parts using naked eye and magnification
• Transfer of chemicals to and from electroforming/photo areas
• General maintenance of equipment and housecleaning of all areas
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  

Other Considerations:

• Demonstrable basic PC skills
• Able to read blueprints/drawings
• Ability to follow run sheets and enter data where applicable
• Ability to multi-task (work in different areas of building on different products simultaneously)
• Experience with chemicals and knowledge of safety protocols preferred
• Some heavy lifting may be required
• Fluent in English, written and verbal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
