SUSHI CHEF

What you’ll do
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, ensuring high-quality standards in taste and presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to design and execute an exciting sushi menu that caters to diverse palates.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Demonstrate exceptional knife skills while preparing fish, vegetables, and other ingredients with precision.
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for ordering supplies.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food handling best practices.
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations and enhance their dining experience.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary role, particularly in sushi preparation or fine dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
