Quality Technician Food ManufacturingLocation: Chelsea, MAJob Type: Long-Term Temporary AssignmentPay: $17/hrShift: We have multiple openings for the following shifts:Sunday-Wednesday- 5AM-Finish (around 3-4pm)Monday-Friday- 3PM- Finish (10-11PM)Job SummaryWe are seeking a Quality Technician to join our food manufacturing’s client team. In this role, you’ll ensure product quality and food safety through routine inspections and monitoring. Key tasks include line clearance, weight checks, pallet inspections, Critical Control Point (CCP) monitoring, sampling, and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Key ResponsibilitiesEnforce and adhere to FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QA tasksPerform line clearance inspections during packaging or product changesConduct hourly product weight verificationsMonitor finished case labels and ensure accuracyContinuously monitor CCPs such as metal detectorsPrepare product samples for lab analysisObserve and report deviations in productionMonitor cold chain integrity throughout productionVerify thermometer and scale calibrations dailyProvide guidance to team members not following GMPs or food safety proceduresQualificationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and write English proficientlyTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to use scanners, thermometers, and other QA toolsCandidates with restaurant or fast-food experience are strongly encouraged to applyWork EnvironmentRefrigerated production and warehouse facilities (cold, wet, and loud conditions)Frequent standing, stooping, and bending for long periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionallyProper PPE providedWhy Join UsLong-term temporary role with consistent hoursGain valuable experience in food safety and quality assuranceBe part of a team dedicated to producing safe, high-quality productsCompany DescriptionWicked Staffing Solutions is a proud New England based Staffing and Recruiting firm that services Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
