What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Professional position at Wicked Joe Organic Coffee Company?
This is a general cleaning and maintenance position within the coffee production facility, as well as in non-production areas such as offices.
We provide a kind and relaxed environment while upholding high standards for our products and our facility.
Our production workers keep their areas clean, so this role would be frequent general building cleaning with occasional production area cleaning.
We maintain food safety standards in our facility, and will provide training to help you work within our standards. We provide and wear PPE, such as smocks and hairnets, in our production zone to protect our product.
A great candidate would be reliable, have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, be self-motivated, take pride in thoroughness and doing quality work. Bringing a great attitude and adding to the overall positivity of the work environment are invaluable qualities.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning Bathrooms, break rooms, and offices.
- Sweeping Floors
- Mopping Floors
- Running a Floor Scrubbing machine
- Taking out Trash and Recycling
- Emptying out and cleaning small Compost Buckets
- Cleaning Windows and Glass Doors
- Cleaning of some Production Equipment and Machinery
- Dusting
- Washing Buckets / Bins
- General organizing and straightening
- And other related tasks
The job involves being on your feet all day, stooping, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 40lbs.
Full OR Part-time available. Operating hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30-5:30. Occasional Friday overtime is available.
