What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A Dedicated Home W/Ends-1850-2100/WK position at Wick TR?
Class A drivers with 3 months of verifiable Class A experience (can be local, regional or OTR)-Yard Jockey, time with trainer or at driving school do not count – neither does any Class B experience. Get home weekends and earn $1850-$2100 /WK
- Drivers will make deliveries to stores by placing boxes on conveyor belt. Drivers do not go into store and there is no merchandising. Store personnel take items off conveyor belt and put them into inventory
- Drivers are paid mileage pay ranging from .80CPM-.86CPM based on experience, and $325/Trailer Unload. Average drivers will unload 3 trailers per week running IL, OH,, IN, MI
- Full benefits including health, dental, PTO, vision, and 401K start after 30 days.
- Drivers may have a rider and a pet from day one although they MAY NOT ride with driver while the train on the account
- Drivers are trained $150/Day and will train for 3-6 days on the account and then run on their own
- Drivers are almost always 500 miles from home. Drivers take their truck home during home time. Drivers will NOT be home for full weekend but will be home at least one day during the weekend.
THE HIRING AREA IS I-70 AND NORTH, MI AS FAR NORTH AS GRAND RAPIDS AND NORTHERN OH OVER TO CLEVELAND
DRIVERS CAN NOT HAVE EVER FAILED OR REFUSED A DOT DRUG TEST EVER IN THEIR CAREER.
- Drivers must have 3 months of verifiable Class A experience in the last 3 years.
- CAN NOT HAVE BEEN TERMINATED FROM YOUR LAST JOB FOR ANY SAFETY REASON. IF YOU HAVE BEEN TERMINATED FOR A SAFETY REASON YOU MUST RUN WITH ANOTHER CARRIER FOR SIX MONTHS
- No more than one DOT Preventable Accident in the last three years and no more than three accidents/ incidents during that time
- No major moving violations in the last year and can not have more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Can not have.
o More than 4 jobs in the last year
o 6 jobs in the last 2 years
o 8 jobs in the last 3 years
