- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers or adhesives to ensure optimal flooring adhesion.
- Install a wide range of flooring types including hardwood, vinyl, and laminate materials with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials according to specifications.
- Follow building installation safety compliance protocols consistently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation including hardwood, vinyl, and laminate floor installation,
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely while handling building materials with manual handling techniques.
- Construction site experience with a solid understanding of building material installation safety standards.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Experience in restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration or floor care is a plus.
- Valid construction experience with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematics enhances your fit for this role.
