What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Sonographer position at Wichita Surgical Specialists?
Vascular Sonographer needed full-time, in office, Monday to Friday. RVT certification preferred, must be a graduate from an accredited ultrasound program. Schedules patients for procedures, obtains and charts patient history in the patient record, uses non-invasive ultrasound techniques to obtain high quality images. Records anatomical, pathological and physiological data for interpretation by a physician. Identify normal and abnormal findings. Analyzes sonograms and relays findings. Must have great attention to detail.
Strong communication, computer and EHR skills. Potential for long periods of time sitting or moving around the office, using a computer, charting, may assist patients in and out of wheelchairs.
