What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Sonographer full-time and part-time position at Wichita Surgical Specialists?
Vascular Sonographers needed full-time and part-time, in office, Monday to Friday. RVT certification preferred, must be a graduate from an accredited ultrasound program. Schedules patients for procedures, obtains and charts patient history in the patient record, uses non-invasive ultrasound techniques to obtain high-quality images. Records anatomical, pathological and physiological data for interpretation by a physician. Identify normal and abnormal findings. Analyzes sonograms and relays findings. Must have great attention to detail.
Communication, computer and EHR skills needed. Potential for long periods of time sitting or moving around the office, using a computer, charting, may assist patients in and out of wheelchairs.
