What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical/Business office Float position at Wichita Surgical Specialists?
Receptionist/Scheduling/Switchboard Float staff: For a busy surgical group. Hours are either Monday-Friday 8-5, or Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:30 and Friday 8-5, depending on the position being covered. Full-time, 40 hours/week. Looking for a reliable person with medical office experience to cover reception staff for vacations or illness at 3 locations as needed. When not covering you are helping the same staff that you cover. Duties vary, including checking in patients, scheduling appointments, computer data entry, switchboard. Computerized scheduling, EHR, and knowledge of health insurance is preferred. Would potentially learn to cover other areas such as insurance, billing, medical records. Good communication and multi-tasking skills required. Must be flexible to work at different locations. www.wsspa.com
