Wichita Home Health Primary Home Care is seeking dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in need. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and daily living activities of our patients in the community.
We are looking for someone who can work independently while establishing good working relationships with their clients, clients' family members, and other members of the Primary Home Care team.
This position will cover Archer county: Archer City, Mergarel, Holliday, Windthorst, Lakeside City, Dundee, and Scotland. The area of coverage will be determined upon candidate's location.
- Responsibilities
- Compassionate and Patient: Demonstrate ability to show empathy and patience when interacting with clients
- Good Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members
- Basic Life Skills: Competence in performing tasks such as assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Dependable and Reliable: Strong work ethic with a commitment to being punctual and maintaining consistent attendance
- Requirements
Current drivers license, automobile insurance, or access to dependable vehicle or public transportationUnderstanding of resident rights and confidentiality guidelines
- Good understanding of electronic devices, including text and email
