Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide services that help the elderly and individuals with developmental disabilities and other care needs.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility assistance.
- Implement care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Provide companionship
- Monitor and document changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed for client transfers or mobility.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding client information and uphold resident rights.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members are essential.
