What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lines Account Manager position at Wichert Insurance?
Wichert Insurance is looking for a full-time commercial lines account manager to work from our Westerville office. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office and up to 2 days working from home each week.
The Commercial Lines Account Manager provides customer service, policy maintenance and coverage placement for an assigned group of insureds. This is not a sales position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to external customers and work as a team with fellow commercial lines account managers and sales associates
- Process various insurance transactions needed to maintain proper insurance coverage for our clients including quoting & issuing new business, and making policy changes
- Review current policies and complete submissions in order to obtain quotes for small to mid-sized commercial lines property-casualty business.
- Develop formal proposals of insurance including details of coverage, limits, deductibles and other pertinent information
- Maintain client files according to company standards
Knowledge & Skills Required
- 3 or more years experience working with commercial lines insurance
- Licensed in state of Ohio for property-casualty insurance
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of agency management system--AMS360 & ImageRight preferred
- Computer operation and keyboarding skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
