What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Lab Assistant position at WICELL Research Institute, Inc?
WiCell, a leading non-profit stem cell services institute and supporting organization of UW–Madison, seeks a Student Lab Assistant to join our collaborative team and help uphold the reputation of quality and excellence for which we are known. This Lab Assistant will prepare materials and paperwork; maintain inventory, equipment, and reagents; and assist with additional lab and administrative activities. Student Lab Assistants (with a valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record check) also use WiCell’s vehicle to make deliveries to campus.
Work will be performed in a typical laboratory and office environment. We offer flexible schedules for students and are looking for a commitment during the academic year of 10-15 hours per week (M-F during normal business hours). We are interested in students who can start this summer and continue through academic year 26-27 and beyond if WiCell has the need and it works with the student’s schedule. There is a possibility of increasing weekly hours during the summer and school breaks based on business needs.
